*PATIENTS BEWARE* It will take a lot more than changing the name on your google page and making a new facebook page (Wartburg Primary Care and Wartburg Ambulatory Care same thing) to get away from your bad reputation. This place is pathetic, Dr's don't actually listen they just want to push pain pills it seems. Had blood work done sugar checked a month prior, then ended up in the hospital for a week with sugar over 500 and A1C off the chart (said sugar had been high for over 3 months). So now insulin dependant and thats not even the half of it, that was only the beginning. Went for a surgery followup and asked for something mild for pain and was just handed a scipt for 120 10mg oxycodone without them checking or uncovering my small stitched incision or getting info about my surgery from the hospital (only had 5mg lortab when I left the hospital), but nurse practitioners (with no background in endocrinology) wanting to adjust TSH levels to high by lowering meds on a 2 time cancer survivor that is at high risk for recurrence even though I had been on the same meds for over 12 years with no issues. (Vanderbilt says they have no business doing that period) Nurse practitioner will say she will take care of something and doesnt do what she states, so make another appointment because they wont do what they say just so they can gouge your insurance company for money for a visit that should have been taken care of on the previous visit. Highly irritated and possibly seeking a lawyer. Was also told they would get a referral to an endocrinologist 3 months ago and finally got 1 for December so sit for 5 moths after they drop the medicine helping keep you alive and say wait til you see him if you want it fixed... This place is a joke!
